June 2017 Trout Lake, Washington - Good News, just received!! The U.S. Forest Service has awarded CASCADIA SCHOOL a PERMIT to operate our 2017 KAYAK SCHOOL. Game on! During our 2016 season we piloted our five day/four night kayak summer camp. It was a tremendous success and we feel the benefits of joining this program instead of the day trip program are tremendous. Give us a call and we can talk about why. 2017 Kayak Courses and Camps

Three Day Beginner Kayak Course Ages 9 to 17 No experience necessary All topline kayaks and river gear is included. Tuition: $249 July 5-7, July 10-12, July 24-26

Three Day Intermediate Course Ages 9 to 17 Some experience necessary. Top of the line hardshell kayaks and gear provided. Tuition: $249 July 5-7, July 10-12, July 24-26

Five Day Kayak Camp for Kids - Ages 9 to 17 Campers overnight at our Kayakero Camp in Trout Lake, WA and our River Camp on the Klickitat River. Five days are packed with on the water and off water adventure and fun. Campers will learn outdoor skills, develop kayak paddling proficiencies, and have a lot of fun!

Tuition: $684

Private Lessons - Ages 9 to17 This course focuses on individualized instruction. Students will receive a textbook, on-water and off-water instruction. Also, students will learn to rig their kayak, wet exit, navigate whitewater, practice safety protocols and learn advanced kayaking strokes and technique. Depending on experience and readiness, students will be taught how to roll their kayak.
